Corporate social responsibility is consciously anchored in the ib vogt corporate philosophy. We are convinced that sustainable economic activity is only possible if we understand ourselves to be an active part of society. We express this concern in many ways. You can find examples here.
We are an established player in the renewable energy branch therefore it is only natural that we campaign the worldwide utilisation of green technologies whilst also committing ourselves to our local region.
"Stiftung Solarenergie" Light for Education
(Solar Energy Foundation) We have supported projects from the Solar Energy Foundation since 2006. The foundation has initiated the “Light for Education” project, which is the largest solar power project to date in Ethiopia. An entire village of 6,000 occupants was supplied with solar power as a pioneering model. Residents now also have sufficient lighting after sunset, meaning they can hold lessons or finish their homework.
“The Fourth Revolution – Energy Autonomy”
As one of the first sponsors of the documentary “The Fourth Revolution – Energy Autonomy”, we can turn our company vision into reality – the support of growth in the renewable energy branch and illustration of the need for the public to initiate the change in energy policy. In this 83-minute documentary, the enthusiastic writer and director Carl A. Fechner presents current climate debates and illustrates possible solutions which lead to a change in energy policy using a number of pioneering projects.
Straßenkinder e.V. (Organisation for street children)
Our own city is also a top priority. In Berlin alone, several thousand children and teenagers spend most of their life on the street – hundreds of these are homeless. We support the “Straßenkinder e.V.” organisation in helping these children to establish relationships and offering meeting places and projects. Since 2006, we have been able to offer a helping hand at the end of each year with clothing and money donations thanks to the support from employees and management.
