Three more ready-to-operate PV power plants realised; 8 MWp

Berlin, 19th January 2011: On time, and before the 2010 year end solar power plants in Brandenburg commissioned

Berlin, 19 January 2011: vogt solar GmbH realised three more ready-to-operate PV power plants on time, and before the 2010 year end. Sites were situated in Hohburg-Lüptitz, Rossau and Lauta-Laubusch. vogt solar was commissioned by PV project Deutschland GmbH to undertake project management, and construction management.

Despite significant obstacles due to the early onset of winter, the PV power plants were constructed within three months, and completed on time. vogt solar assembled 28,000 thin-film modules in Lüptitz; 8,000 in Rossau; and more than 21,000 in Lauta. The completed plants will have a total output of 8 MWp and will meet the annual electricity requirements of around 2,500 households, saving 3,900 tonnes of CO2
