2.2 MWp solar power plant in Listerfehrda

Berlin, 14th January 2011: Solar power plant connected to the grid at envia M on December 29, 2010 in Brandenburg

Berlin, 14 January 2011: A photovoltaic (PV) plant was connected to the grid at envia M on December 29, 2010 in Listerfehrda, in the rural district of Wittenberg, Saxony-Anhalt. vogt solar GmbH was assigned by Sunspa 1 GmbH to be the general contractor for all services from project development to turnkey construction.

Crucial in the acceptance of vogt solar’s bid was the focus on optimizing the cost effectiveness of the project through precise adjustment of the solar power generator to local conditions, and the minimization of system losses.

Despite the early onset of winter the PV power plant in Listerfehrda was completed within two months of construction, and on time - by December 31, 2010. vogt solar assembled 11,520 modules and two solar inverter stations on the 5.5 ha site. Only quality German products were used and all the work was assigned to regional companies. The completed plant will have a total output of 2.2 MWp and will meet the annual electricity requirements of around 600 households, saving 1,000 tonnes of CO2.
