Dagmar Vogt is Berlin’s Businesswoman of the Year 2008/2009

Berlin, September 27, 2008.

The founder and managing director of ib vogt GmbH was awarded the businesswoman prize during the 4th “Berliner Unternehmerinnentag” (Berlin Businesswomen’s Day) by Almuth Nehring-Venus, State Secretary for Economy, Technology and Women and Prof. Dr. Dieter Puchta, CEO of the Investitionsbank Berlin. With this “Businesswoman of the Year” award, Berlin honors the outstanding achievements of businesswomen in the capital.  

Dagmar Vogt was awarded the prize for her exceptional performance in creating qualified jobs. She also convinced the jury with her commitment to the compatibility of family and career as well as with her work in the areas of training and continuing education.  

This is already the third year that the Senate Department has awarded the businesswoman prize. An independent jury chose three finalists from all of the applications. The applicants fulfilled the competition’s criteria in a special manner: with an innovative business idea, personnel policy, customer loyalty strategy, networks and sales development.  

The Berlin Businesswomen’s Day is a joint event organized by the Senate Department for Economy, Technology and Women and the Investitionsbank Berlin. The event is co-financed through the European fund for regional development.
