Los Angeles mayor attends Berlin cleantech industry meeting.

One week ago, Los Angeles mayor Antonio Villaraigosa attended a cleantech industry meeting in Berlin and discussed the future of renewable energy development with industry specialists. Dagmar Vogt, the managing director of vogt group SE, was an important representative of the photovoltaic sector during the preliminary talk.

Mrs Vogt is pleased that the head of the American city was interested in basing his own efforts on the example of Germany as a leader in the area of environmental and energy innovation. “I would be happy if all of the mayors in the world had similar concepts and their implementation in mind,” said Mrs Vogt, praising the city of Los Angeles' sustainable concept for carbon minimisation. 

The meeting put both the participants and the organiser in sanguine moods  because Berlin's green economy has recorded a positive growth trend over the past four years.
