The vogt group prepares itself for the future market of Turkey and strikes up partnerships with local companies.
Berlin, March 2010.
In the field of photovoltaics, Turkey is one of the most commercially interesting regions in Europe: geographically seen as the intersection between three continents, one of the highest incidences of solar radiation in the world, as well as having a population with an ever-growing energy requirement.
This year expects to see a further law passed in Turkey to promote renewable energy, providing added incentive for investors, such as a new feed-in tariff for photovoltaic installations.
The vogt group is looking confidently at the coming months: "The close collaboration already in place with local companies means that we can immediately realise projects in Turkey in an efficient and cost-effective manner. We can thus offer our Turkish customers German expertise at local conditions. We are confident that the relevance of the Turkish market for solar energy will continue to increase. For the vogt group, Turkey is already our number one priority." (Dagmar Vogt, Managing Director of the vogt group SE)
